True reason for Comparative Advantage should be more the difficulty of movement of labour than that of capital, in my view.
Reading and ‘walking’ Ricardo’s ‘Principles’, I felt it curious despite his placing importance on labour as the source of value, he uses the difficulty of movement of capital as the reason for it.
Particularly today, movement of capital is free but still that of labour is relatively limited.
