春霞 なに隠すらむ さくら花 散るまをだにも 見るべきものを

Spring haze;
I wonder why, at all,
Does, the wild cherry blossoms, it hide.
I would like at least to see them for awhile,
Until they scatter for life ephemeral.

春霞はなぜ隠すのだろう。短い命の桜が散るまでに、せめても見ていたいのに。

Why does spring haze hide the wild cherry blossoms? I would like to see them for their ephemeral life until they scatter at least.
