色もなき 心を人に 染しより 移(ｳﾂ)ろはむとは 思ほえなくにも
紀 貫之
Once colorless,
My heart is now dyed, thickly,
With you, nonetheless.
I don’t think it will fade away
So quickly and easily.
Ki no Tsurayuki
(鑑賞)
色のない私の心をあなたが染めてから、移ろう(色あせる)とは思えないのだ。
(Appreciation)
Though once colorless, my heart is now dyed thickly with you, nonetheless. I don’t think it will wane and fade away so quickly and easily.
I.e. Ever since I fell in love with you, I miss you very much. I don’t think it will fade easily.
