< 春の歌とてよめる >
三輪山(ﾐﾜﾔﾏ)を しかも隠すか 春がすみ 人に知られぬ 花や咲くらむ
紀 貫之

Spring haze deeper,
Hides Miwa-yama, sacred,
In such a manner,
As to makes me convinced,
Cherry blossoms are in full bloom, unrecognized.

< 春の歌として詠んだ歌 >
三輪山を春霞は、ここまで隠すのか、その霞の奥に、人に知られない桜の花が咲いているのだろう。
(Appreciation)
Spring haze rising deeper hides sacred Miwa-yama, in such a manner that it makes me convinced that cherry blossoms are in full bloom, unknown to people.
