白雲の 八重(ﾔﾍ)にかさなる をちにても 思はむ人に 心へだつな

Even if you are far away,
As the white clouds in the sky,
Eightfold-layered remotely,
Never forget a man momently,
Who are longing for you seriously.

< 陸奥国(東北地方)へ行った人のために詠んで贈った歌 >
白雲が八重にかさなる遠方にあっても、(あなたを)思う人(わたし)に心をへだてないでくれ。

Even if you are far away from me as the white clouds drifting in the sky, eightfold-layered remotely, you should never forget me momently who are longing for you seriously.
